Accessibility
This site aims to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA on every page, in both light and dark themes, online and offline.
What that means in practice
- Everything is operable with a keyboard alone, including importing a file.
- Choosing a file never requires dragging: the file picker is the control, and dropping is an extra.
- Nothing requires signing in, solving a puzzle or remembering a code.
- The export guide gives every step for every device as text, with no reliance on pictures.
- Long result lists report their true size to a screen reader, and can be shown as pages instead of one continuous list.
- The page reflows at 320 pixels wide and at 400% zoom, and respects a reduced-motion setting.
How this is checked
Every route is tested automatically with axe on each change, in light and dark, alongside keyboard, target size, reflow and zoom checks. Automated tools find only part of what matters, so each release also gets a manual pass with VoiceOver, NVDA and TalkBack.
Known gaps
- The export guide currently has no screenshots. The written steps are complete on their own, which is the more important half, but the pictures are still to come.
